China and Moldova Officially Launch the FTA Negotiations

  

On December 28, China International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce Fu Ziying and the State Secretary of Moldova’s Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Drăgăli signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Launching China-Moldova FTA Negotiations between the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova in Beijing, officially launching China-Moldova FTA Negotiations.

China-Moldova FTA Joint Feasibility Study was launched in December 2016 and was concluded in May 2017. The research concluded that establishing China-Moldova Free Trade Zone would help reach a closer bilateral relationship, tap economic and trade cooperation potential and promote the development of the two countries’ economy.
