Biography

Fu Ziying, male, a Han Chinese, is a native of Yueyang city, Hunan Province. He was born in September 1957, started his career in October 1974 and joined the CPC in July 1992. Mr. Fu Ziying obtains a master degree and holds a PhD in economics and is a Senior Accountant.

He worked successively as deputy director of the Department of Finance, deputy director of the Department of Economic Coordination and Chief Accountant of Reanda Certified Public Accountants (director level) of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. He was appointed Chief Accountant of Reanda Certified Public Accountants (deputy director general level) of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation in March 1995, and promoted to serve as the Director General of the Department of Financial Planning and Finance of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation in September 1997. In June 2003, Mr. Fu Ziying became Director General of the Department of Planning and Finance of the Ministry of Commerce. He was promoted to Assistant Minister and member of the CPC Leadership Group of the Ministry of Commerce in July 2003. In March 2008, he was appointed Vice Minister of Commerce and member of the CPC Leadership Group of the Ministry of Commerce. He was shifted to serve as Vice Governor and member of the CPC Leadership Group of Jiangsu Province in November 2011. In March 2015, he became Head of Discipline Inspection Group at the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. In February 2017, Mr. Fu Ziying was appointed Deputy Secretary of the CPC Leadership Group of the Ministry of Commerce. In March 2017, he was appointed China International Trade Representative (ministerial level), Vice Minister and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Leadership Group of the Ministry of Commerce.

Fu Ziying is an alternate member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
